Dr. Waqas R. Shaikh, MD, MPH is an Ivy League trained dermatologist and Mohs micrographic surgeon with expertise in all aspects of general, medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. His areas of interest include skin cancer, reconstructive surgery, and cosmetic dermatology. He completed his dermatology training at the University of Pennsylvania, the oldest and one of the most prestigious dermatology departments in the United States. Dr. Shaikh then undertook a one-year ACMGE-accredited fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and cutaneous oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center, often ranked the nation’s top cancer hospital. He has the distinction of being among the first to achieve board certification in Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery.

Peyton is a physician assistant with Peach Dermatology. She received her Master of Medical Science and Physician Assistant Certification from Mercer University and began her career in dermatology immediately following graduation, having received training in both medical and cosmetic dermatology from renowned physicians and experienced physician assistants in the Atlanta area. She values lifelong learning and staying up-to-date on the latest developments in dermatology. She is an active member of Georgia Dermatology Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Peyton was born and raised in Marietta and currently lives in Atlanta. In addition to dermatology, Peyton enjoys college football, the Braves, and spending time with her friends and family.

Mara is a skilled Aesthetician and Licensed Laser Practitioner at Peach Dermatology, specializing in various medical laser and aesthetic treatments. Since earning her Esthetic License in 2018. Her expertise includes laser hair reduction, IPL, diode treatments, chemical peels, microneedling, and acne treatments, as well as skincare correction. She is passionate about educating her patients on different services, procedures, and skincare products, ensuring they receive exceptional care. Mara conducts cosmetic consultations to help patients consider their options and provides thorough pre and post-care guidance. Her extensive knowledge and experience enable her to offer tailored recommendations for the best outcomes.
