I care for patients with a wide range of kidney disorders, from acute kidney injury to end-stage kidney failure. I find taking care of patients extremely rewarding; listening to their symptoms and concerns, reaching a diagnosis and providing the best care I can makes me happy.I attended medical school at Mamata Medical College, completed my residency at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center and was awarded a fellowship in nephrology at the Mayo Clinic.I also find it very rewarding to teach residents and fellows and participate in medical research. Some of my recent research focuses on lactic acidosis, polycystic kidney disease, kidney disease in multiple myeloma and IgA nephropathy, a rare condition that causes inflammation and kidney damage.
