I decided I wanted to go into medicine because I want to be there for my patients just like nurses and providers were there for my family during a difficult and scary time in our lives. As a physician assistant in orthopedic surgery, I enjoy doing surgery because it is a unique way to care for patients to be able to fix something immediately. I am motivated by helping my patients. I strive to always give patients my time by listening to them in order to build partnerships in their care.
