Dr. Nunzio Misseri was born and raised in Sicily, Italy. In 2002, he and his family moved to the United States, residing in North Carolina before settling in Waverly, Virginia.

Dr. Misseri graduated with Honors in Biological Sciences from North Carolina State University. He then received his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine, where he was elected by his peers as part of the class of 2016 Student Government.
