Nichole Barrett oversaw a $1 Million SAMHSA-funded grant providing services to pregnant and postpartum women in residential substance use disorder treatment. Nichole earned her BSW from the University at Albany, and her MSW from the University at Buffalo, a program focused on trauma-informed care and utilizing a human rights-based perspective in social work. Nichole believes in providing wide access to care for the most vulnerable populations, and places emphasis on trauma-informed approaches alongside cultural competency in social work practice.
