My name is Christine Donovan and I am a licensed massage therapist who founded New Mexico Therapeutic Massage. Having personally experienced head and neck pain, I understand the impact pain can have on a person's physical and emotional well-being. After a car accident in 2014 left me in chronic pain, I turned to therapeutic massage techniques for relief, which ultimately helped me regain my health and sense of self. The transformative power of therapeutic massage inspired me to become a massage therapist myself, and in 2018, I completed my massage therapy education. Since then, I have been dedicated to continually expanding my knowledge and skills through advanced education classes to better assist clients in managing their pain. My commitment to excellence has earned me referrals from satisfied clients and healthcare professionals in the Albuquerque and Rio Rancho area. With a focus on advanced bodywork techniques, I have helped many clients alleviate head, neck, and back pain, as well as provide relief for conditions such as lymphedema, fibromyalgia, and arthritis through lymphatic therapy. Outside of my practice, I am also an accomplished artist and a classically trained Middle Eastern dancer specializing in Classical Egyptian dance.
