The vision of Neurosensory Vision Integration Clinic is to train the brain through the visual system using neuroplasticity research to produce a life-changing effect in our patients lives. Dr. Ingelse has been practicing for almost 20 years. She graduated from Illinois College of Optometry where she obtained a residency specialty in vision therapy and pediatrics. Dr. Ahrens also graduated from Illinois College of Optometry in 2014 where he was trained in vision therapy and gained an interest in pediatrics and vision therapy. Our doctors are at the forefront of vision therapy by training the vision system through the brain instead of only the eye muscles. Both Dr. Ingelse and Dr. Ahrens are certified in the CogniViiSION therapy protocol developed by Dr. Ingryd Lorenzana, a specialist in the field.
