Jessica is a graduate of The University of South Alabama’s Master of Science program with emphasis on Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has a bachelor of science in nursing degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and her associates degree from Jones College. She has been in the mental health field for nearly 6 years working in a crisis inpatient facility. She did her clinical training at Oceans Behavioral hospital in Biloxi, MS. Prior nursing experience includes emergency medicine, oral surgery, and hospice care.
Jessica is married to Chris McKinnon, for 16 years, and has 4 children. 2 of her children are adopted from China’s special needs program and one has Autism Spectrum Disorder.
