Rude Management, Unprofessional and Overpriced. Avoid.
I deal with contractors often in my line of work and do not recommend this place. I needed a lock removed and although I have the equipment to remove it myself the new policy of the storage unit facility I rent from will only permit licensed lock smiths for the job.
They charged me $210.00 for 5 minutes of work on a lock that cost $19.99 from Home Depot. I understand that this is a business but this is a bit much and I their estimates are fare from the final fee at the end of the job.
Furthermore, the person they sent was unprofessional. I know how to use these tools safely and this person did not warn anyone or ask them to back up a safe distance when he put on his safety gargles and went to work. Fortunately, no bystanders got shards of hot metal in their eye but this would have been a clear lawsuit for the company. The individual did not even bother to clean up his mess and for the price I'm paying I expect professional services wouldn't you?
This company preys on the ignorance of their customers, is ambiguous about cost until the job is done and charges rates above market value for their services. Do yourself a favor and scroll further down Google and find a place that offers better services then this business.
After reading this review the manger of the company showed his true character and called me demanding that I take the review down using insulting vulgar language and threated me. This place and people like this is not worth it.
When his intimidation tactics failed he fabricated a ridiculously slanderous comment concerning my character. Rude, unprofessional, totally not worth it.
My suggestions are to be clear and upfront with your customers about the total cost of service. Be professional, and remember a little kindness goes a long way. This will improve your reviews. Or you can continue to use vulgarity to intimidate customers who provide an account of your services that you do not like.

MR T'S LOCK & KEY. Please be aware this company is not a good business!!!!
1. I called gave the info for my car, (year, make and model) and explained I needed new key. They said it would be between $150.00 to $180.00 and they can have someone come to me for this service. (Sounded perfect).
2. Driver shows up and wants to be paid in cash!!! I said check or credit card only and I want a receipt. He runs my card says it is now $220.00!!! (WHAT!!!!) He cops an attitude and says he already told me the price???? He then says he will text me a receipt and takes off!!!!
3. He took my original key with him, I called the company right away and was told they would send him right back with the key. 20 minutes later he arrives and says he threw my key away!!! I said where is it and he would not tell me!!! The original key has the only way I can reset me alarm, it is on the key fob he took!!! I called the company and they repeated what he said, "The original key was thrown away and the technician would not retrieve it. I asked where he threw the key and I would go into the trash and get it myself, they repeated the key is gone and hung up on me!!
4. I called the local North Providence Police to explain what happened and was told by the officer that I would need to take them to court!!!!
I am so angry, now someone can come and steal my car with the original key. Warning to all my neighbors and friends if you do business with them, please be very careful.
Guess who just called me a man from Mr T's Lock and Key and said, "YOU ARE A SICK INDIVIDUAL" !!! Can you believe it, he said I was offered a new key. Never happened, I was offered a discount on another key. The man said he will call me back.
A few minutes later he returned the call and said he will get me a new key fob today?
Tech came and but never left the fob!! I called and the "manager" and he said "tech told him no one came and he waited 20 minutes"??? My husband was there the whole time?? Tech left and said to call his manager. I called and the manager said he has the new fob but would not give it to me until I took my comments down! WHAT!!! He is in the wrong and now is trying to treat me like a criminal!! Buyer be ware of this, manager twist his words and say they told me that. I would not change my comments I would only update them because I stand by everything I posted!!,
