She returned to the area to attend medical school at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine, and she completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Dr. Barr has special interests in high-risk obstetrics, postpartum care, lactation, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and management of abnormal uterine bleeding. She is also an LGBTQ+ ally.
Outside of work, Dr. Barr enjoys spending time with her family.
