Dr. Fortson joined Midtown OBGYN in 2017 after completion of residency in Augusta, GA. Her hometown is Decatur, GA but she proudly calls Columbus home now. She performs the full scope of OBGYN practice seeing patients in the office, performing surgeries and in-office procedures, and delivering babies. When not at work she enjoys spending time with her Husband Thomas and their two great children Charlotte and Jack. Dr. Fortson jokes she thought it was a Dateline episode the first time she went to Fortson Road in Fortson, GA to meet her Fortson in laws! Her hobbies while drinking lots of coffee include traveling, reading, and DIY home projects.
