She completed her undergraduate degree at Saint Mary’s College, South Bend, In., and her doctor of nursing practice at Purdue University, West Lafayette, In. She’s a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau, an international honor society for nurses.
