On Sunday, May 18, 1997, John & Teri Roscka (owners), along with Fred and Wilma Miller, family and friends held an open house for the new Miller - Roscka Funeral Home, Inc. located in Monticello, Indiana 47960. It was a very well attended open house with over eight hundred (800) individuals touring the new facility. Our entrance is located off county road 650 E. (south at the flasher) and not off of the highway. This makes it much safer for everyone who comes to the funeral home. The facility is one level and is fully handicapped accessible. There is an ample off street, well-lit parking lot and a drive through carport (north side of building) so individuals can be dropped off at the door during inclement weather. Our large chapel (visitation room) can be divided in half and there is a lounge with a TV & VCR available to the families we serve. Coffee is always on and for those who do not drink coffee, a pop machine is available in the lounge. We also have a refrigerator available if families need to keep things cold. John and Teri would appreciate the opportunity to serve the White and Carroll County communities. We treat every family we serve, the same way we would want our own families treated during the loss of a loved one.
