Michael is a nationally certified, dermatology trained Physician Assistant with over three years of dermatology experience. Michael graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Human Biology with a specialization in Bioethics, Humanities, and Society from Michigan State University - Lyman Briggs Residential College, and completed his graduate studies at Central Michigan University with a Master of Medical Science Degree in Physician Assistant Studies. He continued his dermatologic training post-graduation by completing a Dermatology Training Program with a nationwide Dermatology company. Michael is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed to practice through the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Michael has given back by volunteering at his local community free clinic in Ferndale. He enjoys outdoor recreation including skiing, playing soccer, tennis, and spending time with his wife and dog. Michael is committed to providing excellent care to meet all of your dermatologic needs. He specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of all skin, hair, and nail disorders. He prioritizes patient education and skin cancer prevention, and specializes in surgical dermatologic procedures including skin cancer excision and repair.
