Michael Karns, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and a fellowship-trained sports medicine physician at University Hospitals Drusinsky Sports Medicine Institute and an associate professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Dr. Karns currently serves as Associate Director of Sports Medicine at UH Lake West Hospital and physician director of the UH Durable Medical Equipment Program (DME). In addition to his clinical practice, he serves as a team physician for numerous high school, college and professional sports teams, including Mentor High School, the Cleveland Browns and the Lake Erie Monsters.
