Michael Garcia, MD

Business Information
Dr. Michael Garcia was born in Cuba and grew up in Montgomery, AL. He received both his undergraduate degree and medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Following medical school he completed a residency at the University of Louisville for Internal Medicine and then returned to UAB for his fellowship in Oncology and Hematology. He previously worked in Birmingham and Jasper for the Simon-Williamson Clinic. Dr. Garcia treats all cancers and blood disorders but has special interests in hematologic malignancies, breast cancer, colon cancer, lung cancer, and melanoma.
