Dr. Michael Stanton is a Sports Medicine fellowship-trained Orthopedic Surgeon and Director of Sports Medicine for Rochester Regional Health. A Rochester native, he graduated from Honeoye Falls-Lima High School and earned a Biology degree from RIT, where he played varsity basketball. He received his M.D. from SUNY Upstate Medical University and completed Orthopedic Surgery residency at the University of Rochester. Dr. Stanton trained further at the prestigious Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinic, assisting with care for pro and NCAA teams. He now provides orthopedic surgical care for RIT and several local high school athletic programs.
