Family medicine allows providers to build long-standing relationships with patients. This, coupled with the variety primary care brings, is why Melina chose the field. She sees patients of all ages through the various stages of life, which allows her to learn patients’ family history, beliefs and goals. Whether a patient is celebrating their own health milestone or needs someone to lend a listening ear and to be truly heard, Melina in available to support her patients along their healthcare journey. She treats patients of all ages and has a special interest in geriatric healthcare. Melina was inspired by her grandfather, Dr Evan Kokales, to pursue medicine.
