Mayson Callaway, MD, joined the Pain Consultants of Atlanta team in 2021, bringing his expertise in interventional pain medicine to the center’s locations in Stockbridge and the Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia. Double board-certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine, Dr. Callaway specializes in vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty as well as spinal cord, peripheral nerve, and dorsal root ganglion stimulation.

Born and raised in Decatur, Georgia, Dr. Callaway is a proud graduate of Woodward Academy. He pursued his undergraduate education at the University of Georgia in Athens, earning dual bachelor's degrees in German and genetics with honors. Following his undergraduate studies, he attended the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta to obtain his medical degree.

Dr. Callaway's medical journey continued with an internship in general surgery at the University of Colorado in Denver. He then completed his anesthesia residency at Emory University in Atlanta, where he served as chief resident. Building upon his knowledge and skills, he also pursued an interventional pain fellowship there.

With a commitment to providing exceptional care, Dr. Callaway is currently accepting new patients. He is dedicated to staying at the forefront of his field and maintaining the highest standards of practice. Dr. Callaway's double board certifications reflect his expertise and qualifications, ensuring that his patients receive the highest level of care.
