The Duan Family Building at Mayo Clinic in Florida opens in July 2025. It expands and integrates services for patients in need of complex cancer care with leading-edge radiation oncology and radiology services. It will house the first carbon ion treatment technology (coming in 2028) in the Western Hemisphere alongside two proton beam gantry treatment rooms (coming in 2027), two photon therapy linear accelerators, advanced imaging technologies including CIMA X MRI and a full-body Quadra PET CT (the first in the southeast), exam areas and treatment planning spaces for clinical staff.
