When I decided that I wanted to replace the venetian blinds in my place with curtains, I knew it would be a considerable expense. So I decided to not mess around. I went to 8 different places and got bids from 7 of them. Master Blinds gave me the most and they also charged the least. Full disclosure, Theirs became the least when they called back with a Black Friday special of 15% off.
Master Blinds gave me “more” because I hoped to get Lutron motorization. Everything I read said that Lutron is the most quiet and I’m already in their ecosystem. However the other places that offered Lutron - the bids were insanely high. Even when they downgraded to Somfy or Rollease, the other bids were now in range with the others, but still a little more than Master Blinds.
Also, Master Blinds is accommodating. Several places don’t do valances or cornices. One place said that if I was using Lutron tracks, the curtains had to be pinch pleat. Master Blinds was able to give me ripplefold. That same place also said that if you want dual drapes of a sheer and a blackout, they both have to be motorized. Master Blinds was able to make the sheer manual. Another place screwed up the measurements and didn't account for the stacks. And one place had the most paltry selection of fabrics imaginable. Master Blinds is the best place in town.
My windows are beautiful and I am happy. They know their stuff. They do good work.
