From childhood on, I was interested in the sciences. Human anatomy in particular always fascinated me. That's what inspired me to become a physician. Our field is vast. The challenge is knowing what resources are out there and using that knowledge to individualize treatment and provide comprehensive care. Thattes what our goal is at Mercy: to provide personalized care geared to the patient's needs. When I interviewed at Mercy, I was struck by their value of leaving no patient behind. There's a lot of truth in that approach, and I see it lived out every day here at all levels. The administration, the staff, the physicians are all dedicated to providing the best care at home to all patients, both those at home and in the hospital. We're truly here to help in any way possible. Our goal is to provide individualized, targeted care to all our patients. And that's an ongoing commitment.
