I realized we haven’t given an update on my family in a while. We welcomed our newest addition to our family, Adler Harvey Rogers, back in January and he has been the sweetest blessing! Oaklan is headed to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital for a brain operation this week to see if they can determine which tubers are causing her seizures and if it’s safe to have a second operation to remove them. I have been out of the office a bit with having my son and now heading to Ohio and I just can’t thank my team enough for serving our customers well and handling things for me while I have been out! This family has supported my small business since I opened! I am so thankful for their support and for opportunity to meet their newest member of the family while writing a check for the damages Helene caused. I never want another storm like Helene to come through our area, however I really cherish the time I had with these families as I visited their homes to see the damages and issued funds to get trees removed, homes tarped and secured. It’s customers like this that make me love my job. And as always, I appreciate my team for fielding hundreds of calls, voicemails, and emails and helping our customers through this process.
