One could say Dr. Thompson's career choice was meant to be: He is a fourth-generation doctor in our community.
After graduating from high school, he couldn't wait to start working in the field. In fact, the day after he received his diploma, he eagerly took a job as an orderly in the operating room at Memorial Hospital.
Today, his life and his passion for medicine have come full circle: Dr. Thompson is a board-certified general surgeon, leading highly skilled surgical teams to perform lifesaving and life-changing surgeries.
"I really enjoy taking care of people," Dr. Thompson said. "My goal is for patients to feel comfortable and confident in their care. I'd like for patients to know that their best interest is all that matters to me."

Outside of work, Dr. Thompson loves to be active playing sports, enjoys traveling, experiencing different cultures and sampling delicious cuisine.
