Dr. MacKenzie received her B.A. in Biology from Colgate University and she graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic. As a Physician, she attended a 4-year Chiropractic school and was educated in all the basic sciences as a Medical Doctor. She also studied Holistic approaches to therapy focusing on the musculo-skeletal system and optimizing health and wellness. Dr. MacKenzie has taken rigorous professional board exams so that she can practice in the State of Connecticut.

Dr. MacKenzie performs physical exams, which also entail orthopedic and neurological evaluations if warranted. She does utilize nutritional assessment and x-ray examinations to aid in her diagnosis and treatment. If Dr. MacKenzie thinks that you can be helped Chiropractically, she will use a variety of therapies to get you feeling better and perform at your best. These treatments may include chiropractic adjustments, therapeutic exercise programs, ultrasound, electric muscle stimulation, and/or cold laser therapy.
