I firmly believe that as a healthcare provider my job is to walk alongside my patients as they navigate their healthcare journey. My responsibility is to get to know each patient and their families on a very personal level so that I can best advise them according to their expectations regarding their health. When my patients leave my exam room, I want them to feel special. I want them to know that I heard their concerns and that I really listened to them. I know that I will walk beside my patients during their best as well as their worst days. I want to extend grace, comfort, compassion as well as excellent medical care to all the people to whom I am privileged to give medical care.
