I am a clinical social worker and have been in private practice since 1995. Before that, I worked in a psychiatric hospital and child welfare and with developmentally disabled children. In my practice, I see school-age children, adolescents, adults, and couples. I have taken Level 1 and 2 of the Gottman training and have been using this method successfully with a variety of couples. I have also taken the Gottman course in working with couples where there are affairs or trauma. In addition to my work with couples, I use a variety of treatment methods to help clients recognize and enhance their coping skills. I work with anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and eating disorders. I also have a particular interest in assisting parents in developing their skills in this challenging area.
