Dr. Lydia Laboccetta first thought she wanted to focus on primary care or emergency medicine, but she quickly discovered she was a surgeon at heart. She believes urology is the perfect balance between surgical and clinical experience. She particularly enjoys minimally invasive surgeries such as laparoscopy and robotics. Dr. Laboccetta strives to stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in the urology field to be able to treat more urologic diseases with less recovery time for her patients. Dr. Laboccetta is happy to be able to deliver cutting-edge care and still have the opportunity to develop a general practice. When Dr. Laboccetta is not working, you will likely find her outside jogging, spearfishing or boating with her husband, Mark.
