About Leia Hunt

CRNP, MSN

An alumni of Cullman High School, Leia graduated from UAB School of Nursing under a Green and Gold Academic Scholarship and as a Nursing Scholars Award Recipient. Leia worked at UAB Hospital after graduation as a Trauma/ER nurse. Leia later graduated from the UAB Family Nurse Practitioner Program and transitioned into Dermatology at Cullman Dermatology in 2012 then later Catoma Dermatology.

Leia is also a graduate of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Academy and retains a sworn law enforcement position with the Cullman Police Department. Leia is married with a daughter and twin sons. She is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys traveling, mountain biking, snowboarding, and horseback riding.
