I am proud to call myself a true Tar Heel and a North Carolinian, although my family ties reach the entire range of the Eastern Seaboard. I have practiced across the spectrum of care settings, including rural medicine and urgent care. I am interested in promoting equity in healthcare for all people, and I believe that effective communication between physicians and patients is the key to successful medical outcomes. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and son and working in my garden.
