Lauryn Nelson is a certified physician assistant in Kelsey-Seybold's Hematology/Oncology department. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Texas Lutheran University in Seguin in 2016 and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, in 2018.

After completing her education, Lauryn worked as a physician assistant at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, assisting physicians in the care of patients in the Surgical Oncology department from 2019 to 2021. She joined Kelsey-Seybold in January 2022.
