Larry began his surveying career in 1969 for the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) as a field surveyor. In 1974, he continued his surveying career working for the City of Salem, Virginia Engineering Department in various roles from land surveyor to civil engineer, erosion & sediment control inspector to construction inspector. He received his Associates Degree in Civil Engineering Technology in 1992 and upon becoming fully licensed as a land surveyor in 2000, Larry started his business, Larry T. Ogle, Sr., L.S., L.C., to provide quality land surveying at an affordable price to the greater Roanoke area.
