Larry Frevert, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with a lifelong passion for sports medicine. As a former athlete, Dr Frevert relates to his patients’ desire to return to play. Dr Frevert grew up in Raytown, Mo., where he was interested in medicine and enjoyed participating in sports. He underwent surgery as a kid, and that experience made him realize he wanted to stand by the table instead of being on the table. Dr Frevert enjoys helping people get back to what they enjoy doing. In his spare time, he enjoys sports, outdoor activities, working with his hands, and watching his kids’ and grandkids’ activities.
