Luis is bilingual in Spanish and English which enables him to better advocate in the communities he serves. Luis worked in the psychiatric inpatient setting as a registered nurse, gaining invaluable experience in acute mental health care while completing his master's program at Vanderbilt University. After graduating, he transitioned to work in several outpatient community mental health settings. In these roles, Luis honed his skills in providing culturally sensitive care to diverse populations.
