Founded in 2010 by professional makeup artist Lissette Waugh, L Makeup Institute has campuses in Las Vegas and Dallas-Fort Worth. Unlike cosmetology schools, LMI offers hands-on programs focused entirely on makeup artistry. Students train in beauty makeup, on-set hairstyling, body
painting, airbrush makeup, character design, and special effects (FX) makeup.
