Dr. Sarkar is a Board-certified Cardiologist and Assistant Professor of Cardiology at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, dedicated to providing comprehensive cardiovascular care. His expertise spans a wide range of areas including cardiac imaging and stress testing, preventative cardiology and cardiometabolic disease, lipid disorders, hypertension, coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, arrythmia and structural heart disease. He is a strong advocate for patient education and whole-person approach to health incorporating nutrition counseling and exercise prescription into personalized medical treatment plans.
