I graduated from nursing school with my bachelor’s in nursing from the University of Indianapolis at 22 years old. I knew I always wanted to be a nurse since kindergarten. I had a calling to expand my role in medicine. I went back to school to be a therapist, after seeing the shortage of psychiatric health providers

I pivoted and received my master’s in nursing specializing as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, graduating from Walden University in 2020 in the heart of the pandemic knowing the time was
