While originally from Oklahoma City, OK, Dr. Rieves has spent most of her career working as a family physician in the Western Slope of Colorado. Dr. Rieves earned her medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City. She completed a family medicine residency at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona. Board-certified since 1999, Dr. Rieves clinical interest is in women’s health, particularly health issues of adolescence, the menopause transition, and menopause. Dr. Rieves is a Certified Menopause Practitioner through the North American Menopause Society in 2023.

When not working, Dr. Rieves enjoys mountain biking, skiing, yoga and reading.
