I am so happy to be here at Canyon View Medical as a family nurse practitioner (FNP)! I am originally from Boise (shout out to Idaho potatoes and my fellow Idahoan transplants!), but I have spent years in Utah and love this great state. I first came to Utah to attend BYU in 2004, and in 2010 graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in nursing. I have worked as a nurse with many populations for years, particularly those in pediatrics and labor and delivery. That is why I ultimately decided to become an FNP, because I love working with a wide variety of people and age groups, and I wanted to be able to do more to help my patients.

As an RN, I spent several years as a traveling nurse jumping from place to place wherever help was needed, from California to Maryland to New York and Maine. I also worked as a humanitarian nurse in Africa. I came back to Utah in 2017 for round two at BYU for my Master’s degree and became an FNP in 2020. My career has been quite an adventure so far, and it is so nice to settle down and call a place home. I am so excited to work with this community and begin our health and wellness journey together as well as share a few laughs. See you soon!
