She began her career in banking after graduating from Eastern Illinois University and has previously worked as a branch manager, a director of deposit services, and as the senior director for treasury management and sales. Kati has advanced knowledge in fraud protection, electronic payments, and the most advanced methodologies to help businesses speed up their payments and receivables.

Active in her community, Kati is the head chair for the North Carolina Collaborative and is a member of the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce and Alpha Gamma Delta sorority.
