Armed with a degree in music, I began my career as a music therapist on an end-stage unit. I began to learn about disease processes and was fascinated. I knew I wanted to go into medicine. \n My approach to treating patients is a personal one. I like getting to know my patients on a personal level. I want to have real conversations with them, learn about their families, their interests, their hobbies. \n My husband and I have a son, and I'm also a dog mom to a schnauzer. I enjoy all endurance sports, especially triathlons and soccer. I also love rooting for the Baltimore Ravens. My happy place is anywhere near a body of water or cooking for friends and family.
