Katherine Swanson, MD is a maternal fetal medicine and medical genetics physician at Intermountain Health’s Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialists in Murray, Utah. Dr. Swanson loves caring for people whose pregnancies are complicated by maternal or fetal genetic conditions (or sometimes both!). This allows her to combine her clinical training in both maternal-fetal medicine and medical genetics to care for patients with rare conditions, create comprehensive care plans for pregnancy, and help transition patients to long-term follow up.

Outside the clinic, the Chicago native (and fourth generation Cubs fan), lives with her husband and three kids in Salt Lake. She loves ballet and modern dance, outsider art, red wine, and stinky cheese.
