During Karissa’s time as a nurse, she became passionate about women’s health. She strives to provide high-quality, comfortable and compassionate OB/GYN care to every patient. Karissa finds it rewarding to see women become mothers, grow as people and become empowered in their healthcare. She loves building relationships with her patients and being able to see them year after year. In addition to caring for women during pregnancy and childbirth, she has special interests in menopausal care, birth control options and gynecological concerns. In her free time, Karissa stays busy with her family. She’s also an avid runner and loves to be outdoors. The term midwife translates to with women.
