Dr Buckley was drawn to plastic surgery because of the impact it can make, noting that even a simple surgery can sometimes cause a huge improvement in a patient’s quality of life. She also enjoys the challenges involved in very complex cases. It is the reason she has spent her entire career working in highly specialized hospital care. It provides her with the ability to help where it is most needed. Dr Buckley believes that it is always the people around her that make each day an exciting opportunity. She states that, “when you work in a place where people feel valued, and value each other, they are able to let that shine through in providing the best care possible.
