Dr. Javaid received his medical degree from the Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan. He completed his internal medicine residency at Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago and his fellowship in pulmonary disease and critical care medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He served as Chief Fellow of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago and Chief Resident of the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Weiss Memorial Hospital. He is board-certified in critical care, pulmonary medicine and internal medicine.
