For nearly eight decades years, Kalamazoo Optometry has been the leader in personalized, quality vision care and eye wear products in Southwest Michigan. Founded in 1935 by Dr. Harry B. Sofen, Kalamazoo Optometry built a reputation for providing eye care to the Kalamazoo industrial community with integrity and excellence. In the 1960's, Dr. Robert L. Klein joined the practice and expanded its expertise to include pediatrics, vision therapy, and developmental eyecare. Soon after, Dr. Robert L. Unser and Dr. James A. Adams rounded out the spectrum of optometric patient care by adding low vision and sports vision to the Kalamazoo Optometry specialties.
