Both my mom and grandmother are nurses. Since I have two outstanding role models and love science and working with people, healthcare was the perfect career. \n I focus on where the patient is now and adjust their health plan to meet their specific needs. In pediatrics, I consider my patients' parents to be an essential part of the healthcare team. Parents really do know what's best for their family. Mom and/or Dad are their child's best advocates. \n I am married to my wonderful husband, and we have two young sons. Outside work, I enjoy cooking for my family, hiking and anything that gets me outdoors.
