We celebrate the birth of every baby at Kadlec and realize this is a special, unique experience for each family. Sometimes newborn babies require extra care, and we are proud to provide this through the area's only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). We treat high-risk babies who need specialized care. Kadlec's NICU accepts premature babies starting at 24 gestational weeks, as well as full-term babies who need extra care.
