Our program provides a special service for people who do not wish to receive blood transfusions under any circumstances. It gives patients the option to receive medical treatment without using blood or blood products. Our state-of-the-art technology and procedures include techniques and technology to expand or conserve a person’s own blood, reducing the need for a transfusion. They inlcude cell saver, harmonic scalpel, volume expanders and synthetic erythropoietin.
