I have worked in multiple different areas during my career. Rural medicine in clinics, emergency rooms, and hospitalist positions have been my main area of focus. Rural medicine includes everything from a sore throat to a heart attack or stroke, multiple injuries including car accidents, falls, work or farm injuries of every kind. I have 16 years of experience in the emergency room setting. Nursing home care with geriatrics is my latest experience which is challenging and rewarding. I love having pediatric patients too. They make the day a little more fun sometimes. Through all of my experiences I have the ability to perceive when a patient needs primary care or when they need a specialist or emergency room/hospital care.
